# Trader Accounts

As the name would suggest, trader accounts are meant to represent traders who want to interact with the marketplace in order to make a profit off of trading carbon credits. 

Trader accounts also aren't subjugated to penalizations as there is not a way in which they can maliciously influence the marketplace.
