# Register for project validator account

If a user hasn't doesn't have a specific role assigned to them on the pallet he/she can apply to become a validator by simply calling the `register_for_project_validator_account(documentation_ipfs)` functionality and sending the documentation (i.e. IPFS link)  that proves they can be seen as a valid and capable validator. The user will also need to pay a small fee in order to do this.
