# Close sale order

### Note:

The following functionality can only be executed by a carbon trading eligible entity. That is by a entity that is a carbon footprint account, project owner account or a trader account.

If a user has previously created a carbon credit sale order which he/she wishes to close before it could be complete, he/she will use the `close_sale_order(sale_hash)`. By doing so the user will need to specify the unique hash value for the given sale order. 

Once the sale order has been closed the carbon credits that were allocated to it will be made available for the sale order user for any other transactions.
